In 2013, Planimetro, driven by the rapid evolution of the construction industry, adopted high-standard Building Information Modeling procedures and technologies. We redefined our operational and drawing procedures and optimized them through the use of new computer programs. 

We use Autodesk REVIT as our platform aimed at three-dimensional modeling, the compilation of project databases and the production of the set of graphical drawings extracted from the model at all stages of design.

Automated interference detection between the various disciplines, (clash detection) is carried out with SOLIBRI, while with the integration of other specialized programs, but remaining in the BIM environment, cost and time control is carried out and building maintenance schedules are configured. 

Thanks to BIM, PLANIMETRO has achieved the highest design standards in coordinating between disciplines and working alongside Contractors during the bidding and construction phases, and more generally in preparing a dynamic tool for Contractors aimed at integrated design.
